Heyy, i just wanna say that I am totally in love with your game. I played the last version and this one and OMGGG so creative and loveable (I'm a simp for Alan). And, for some reason, I always get excited when I notice Sunny Day Jack on one of the scenes. Thank you for making this game an melting my heart :)
Typically if you go into your files nd extract all the files from the folder then open the new folder you'll find a save with the name of the game click that, it should open right up! ^^
hi so I've downloaded it on my computer and it went into a file. So now I don't know how to open it or what to do so if someone could provide instructions that would be great thanks

Omg I loved Alan in the original version but now my nose is bleeding. I was so sad when it ended so soon. I also get way bigger yandere vibes now, in the original it was just cute except for you being choked at night, which didn't have any connection to Alan. Make more please I love this man, like to an unhealthy extent.(edit I know this sounds rude, but he's only cuter dialogue and expression wise, his old sprite was adorable and he's still cute just not as much. I'm sure you have reasons like a lot of VN artist have had to change their sprites)

I just played the updated version and OMG He is sooooo Cuuuuteeee!!!!! <3 and the little voice clips of him is super cute and fit him so much and the ice cream scene and his flashing his grin scene is just omg I LOVE IT SO CUUUUUTE!!!
Thanks for adding the "Hes kinda annoying" right at the start of the game😭😂 Not because I think he's annoying or anything, it's just realistic and super hilarious

WHY DOES ALAN REMIND ME OF TOWA FROM SLOW DAMAGE SO MUCH- LIKE BROS GOT THE FACE SCARS AND REMNANTS OF BLOND (not complaining just wondering if its intentional bc i love towa and alan sm)
I'll be honest for this update, for the story is more good and everything is good to me, but just one that make me like...kinda dissapointed, its just... The new Alan Orion style, i just likes the old of Alan orion style because he look like sweet and adorable to me, yep ._. But i will appreciate it and i hope you guys for the creator can make Alan Orion Style be more good :)
Hey, Gnome! Love this game so far! I just heard about the rewrite being uploaded and there was no 'Update' button, so I planned to uninstall and install the new files. Unfortunately, I've run into this error that doesn't affect any other games I own/install.
If you can see, just under the 'Select...' button is an empty drop down menu. Every time I try to select the files, the menu doesn't show any options. If I press 'Install' anyways, I get this message:
Fortunately, I have been able to install the game through a web browser instead of the itch.io app, but I would love to be able to manage the game in my itch.io library. If there's any more information I need to share, please let me know. Can't wait to play the rewrite! Thanks!
I love all the references to shows!! I remember playing this sooo long ago and I replayed it again and I was so happy. I love the small changes and the Large ones! I particularly like Alan's Lovestruck look!! I can't wait for all of the future updates. Although I love how you kept Alan's thievery of the store the same LOL
totally worth the wait really good job, was surprised by sunny say jack on the tv lol and the other lil easter eggs as well. Alan was a total scamp and gotta love that and loved the feel the music gave to well everything.

Heya! To open the game you need to click in the file named "rewritten my dear hatchet man . exe" or something like that ending with ".exe".

IMO he's cuter in the old version, and the old sprite was what attracted me to the game in the first place. Kinda disappointed that it was replaced.
